Life Update Literally No One Asked For:

I was playing field hockey last week and a MAN threw the ball straight up into my thumb from like 2 feet away (rude af, typical male behavior). It hurt soooo bad, but "mama raised a soldier not a bitch,"* so I kept playing. That night I was complaining to my mom and husband that it hurt really badly and they BOTH told me it was probably jammed and to stop being dramatic.

I got it checked out the next day and somehow I managed to fracture my thumb LONG WAYS. Inspirational. The doc was lowkey shook by my ability to injure myself (real). If you've been around, you know a MAN broke my nose playing field hockey this time 2 years ago. I'm officially being haunted (attacked) by the patriarchy during spooky season.

Long story short, it's fine bc I can still awkwardly type and I'm officially taking up running! Stay safe folks.
